This is from someone by the name of Bang Lu Min who commented on the yahoo article. I got excited to post this that I accidentally closed the browser. You see, I've been waiting for some survivors to open up and apparently, one has posted his/her view on the comments.

If you ask me, I think this is true (Update: I take that back. It's a fake!). If you follow the situation, the comment is quite accurate. The slashing of the throat is also there.

And here's how the Germans tackled this kind of situation. Note, that video below is an actual hostage situation. It's all over in 10 secs. We can only hope that our SWAT is as swift and effective like this.

The stick bomb (Magic Stick) is supposed used to blow up the glasses and windows. It turned out that the whole bus exploded. But everyone is alive though. Talk about Shock and Awe!

Update 2: I heard the PNP's Special Action Force offered their services but whoever is in charge believed that the MPD District's SWAT can do the job. I dunno guys but I think the SAF guys have the proper equipment for this.


UPDATE 3: Apparently, we have the equipment, manpower and training to deal with the situation. However, they were not utilized and they are called PNP-Special Action Force. They were trained by US FBI's Hostage Rescue and Israel's YAMAM. Here's the discussion about it.
